I have been invited to speak next week at the SMU Power Plays Conference in Dallas. (http://www.smu.edu/Dedman/Academics/Programs/GeothermalLab/Conference/Presenters)

This is a great opportunity as this conference is about cross pollinating between the oil & gas, renewable, and geothermal industries. I am excited to share ideas from my paper, “Renewable Geothermal – A path to reduced carbon emissions and increase reliability.” (www.renewgeo.com/resource/RenewGeo.pdf)

This new proprietary technology positions geothermal, not as an alternate to low cost renewable solar PV, but as a real competitor to electrical grid storage alternatives. Taking knowledge from both enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and enhanced geothermal systems (EGS) to create a 24 / 7 carbon free power generation from solar.

If you are in the area and can attend, please check out the event.
